Andrews digital career spans over 19 years including moderating chatrooms for Pop Idol and Liverpool FC, producing shows for the digital station BBC Radio 1Xtra and part of the team that saw the rise (and fall) of Myspace.com in 2006-2009. Andrew also sat on the Ofcom Advisory committee for England for 4 years, where he ensured a strong focus on innovation, technology and diversity.

I have been doing digital training and keynote speaking for over 11 years and still one of the questions I get the most is 'why did MySpace fail?' As someone who was part of the team to help launch one of the original social networking platforms in the UK, I saw first hand the gigantic rise and the monstrous fall. This talk will break down some of the reasons why it failed and more importantly, what you can take out of this to help during this pandemic and when we get back to the 'new normal.
